On November 17, Liu Jingzhen, chairman of China National Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., publicly stated that nearly one million people have been vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Sinopharm Group in emergency use. There was no case of infection among people who went to work and study in more than 150 countries around the world after being vaccinated.

Liu Jingzhen revealed that the COVID-19 pneumonia vaccine developed by Sinopharm Group has carried out international clinical Phase III trials in 10 countries including the UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Peru, and Argentina. Now the number of people enrolled in the group is close to 60,000, of which more than 40,000. The blood collection 14 days after two injections of immunization has been completed, and the performance is very good.

In addition, construction personnel, diplomats, and foreign students in more than 150 countries around the world have not had a single case of infection after vaccination.

Liu Jingzhen gave an example. A multinational company has 99 employees in its overseas offices, of which 81 were vaccinated. After the epidemic broke out in the office, 10 of the 18 people who were not vaccinated were infected and vaccinated None of the personnel were infected.

The two new inactivated vaccines developed by Sinopharm Group have been put into emergency use.
