On February 5, local time, Peruvian President Francisco Sagasti announced that the first batch of 300,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine from Sinopharm Sinopharm Group had departed from China and transferred in Paris, France on Saturday, by another Boeing 777- The 300ER aircraft was shipped to Lima.

At 7:55 on the evening of February 7, local time, the batch of vaccines arrived in Peru. President Francisco Sagasti greeted and delivered a speech at the airport.

According to Peruvian media reports, with the support of the armed forces, these vaccines will be sent to the warehouse of the National Health Strategic Resource Supply Center, and then distributed to vaccination centers across the country.
