At present, two large pharmaceutical companies in the United States say that the effectiveness of vaccines is more than 90%, and the other says that the effectiveness of vaccines is more than 95%, but this is what the public has said. The medical school’s rigorous statement is that 90% is good. 95%, these figures do not represent the effectiveness of the vaccine in the actual environment.

In other words, what these two numbers reflect is the “Efficacy” in a controlled environment in the laboratory, not the “Effectiveness” we use widely. In the actual environment and life, it may be affected by factors such as the age of the vaccinated population, physical condition, and whether there are potential diseases, which greatly reduces the “effectiveness” of the vaccine.

One more thing that remains to be verified is the timeliness of the vaccine and how long can it last? After vaccination, the people who develop antibodies to the new coronavirus are long-term? Is it short-term? Is it permanent? Therefore, it can be described as a state of taking one step at a time!

It is precisely because of this that even if the vaccine is injected, it will take some time for life to return to normal. Moreover, it does not mean that everything will be fine after the vaccine. We still need to go out to wear masks and we still need to stay social. The distance, it is estimated… it still needs to stay home for a while!
