Whistleblower: Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine has serious violations in Texas trials.
On November 3, reported that the British Medical Journal (BMJ) quoted Brooke Jackson, the former regional director of Ventavia Research in the United States, as saying that in the fall of 2020, Ventavia will conduct a trial for Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine in Texas. There are serious violations in.
Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.
The magazine wrote: “Jackson disclosed to the British Medical Journal that Ventavia had falsified data, informed in advance that trial participants would be given the real vaccine or a placebo, used inadequately trained vaccinators, and had a negative impact on Pfizer’s Phase 3 vaccine. Follow-up of adverse reactions reported during the main study period is slow.”
According to the magazine, after informing Ventavia of these issues several times, Jackson sent an e-mail complaint to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). On the night of sending an email to the FDA, Jackson was fired by Ventavia.
Ventavia stated on its website that the company is the largest private clinical research company in Texas.
On December 11, 2020, the FDA approved an emergency use authorization application for Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. In August of this year, after Pfizer’s vaccine was fully approved, the FDA released an inspection summary of the company’s key trials. The FDA inspected 9 of the 153 sites tested, but Ventavia was not among the 9 inspected sites.
