The White House previously pointed out that the ordered home rapid screening reagents will be delivered within 7 to 12 days, which means that the public will not receive the rapid screening reagents until the end of January at the earliest; the Biden administration also plans to provide monthly to K-12 schools across the country.

There are 5 million sets of free new coronavirus rapid screening reagents and nucleic acid (PCR) detection reagents each to ensure the safe opening of schools and continuous physical teaching.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that people who have symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, and muscle pain, or who have been in contact with a confirmed case five days ago, can self-test at home to check their infection status.

The rapid screening reagents are used to cooperate with the epidemic prevention testing regulations of schools and work units.

According to statistics, the number of COVID-19 deaths in Los Angeles County has reached a single-day high of 66 since April.

It is recommended that the community members quickly place orders for test kits in case of emergency.
