China will provide 150000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines aid to Syria.   In addition to providing Syria with 150,000 doses of vaccines, China has also decided to provide Syria with 20 ventilators and the first batch of 750 tons of rice assistance, to implement the concept of a “community with a shared future for mankind” with practical actions.

On February 4, Feng Biao, the Chinese ambassador to Syria, said in an exclusive interview with the Syrian mainstream media “The Motherland” that China has decided to provide Syria with 150,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine assistance.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Syria 65 years ago, the two countries have consistently supported each other on issues concerning each other’s core interests and major concerns, and practical and friendly cooperation in various fields has been fruitful.

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pneumonia epidemic last year, China and Syria have watched and helped each other. China has provided Syria with a large amount of medical supplies, which has enhanced the friendship between the two peoples.

In addition to providing Syria with 150,000 doses of vaccines, China has also decided to provide Syria with 20 ventilators and the first batch of 750 tons of rice assistance, to implement the concept of a “community with a shared future for mankind” with practical actions.

According to data released by the Syrian Ministry of Health, as of February 3, the country had a total of 14,202 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pneumonia, including 933 deaths and 7,807 cured cases.
